Christian Gonzalez Dynasty Rookie Draft Outlook

Gonzalez is probably the highest-ceiling CB in this class, he has height, length, and instincts, plus he’s improving at going after the ball in contested situations. Gonzalez is unbelievable at following the WR and pushing him to the sideline, and using it as an extra defender. He’ll also be able to fill in as a Saftey if needed, and I actually think with his speed and instincts, he might be better there, but he’s an outstanding CB. Gonzalez is going to be a Day 1 starter and could be elite from the jump.

Christian Gonzalez 2023 NFL Draft Outlook

A big, long cornerback who plays with the polished technique and feel for the position you’d expect from a three-year starter, anticipating routes well from his typical press-man alignment and diagnosing route combinations from zone/shuffle. May lack some of the disruptive physicality of other bigger cornerbacks in this year’s class, but limits penalties better than most and is a more pro-ready prospect who should be able to step in relatively soon and offer solid play on the boundary.
