Dynasty Rookie Draft Profile: Noah Sewell

Noah Sewell Dynasty Rookie Draft Outlook

Sewell is a ‘chess piece’ LB that is best served to blitz but can also be used in coverage and on the LOS. I feel like the closer to the line he is, the better for his production. Strength is the best part of his game, and he can shed blockers and will run right over an RB trying to pick him up. Sewell might not have the best instincts playing in coverage, but his motor is always up, so he’ll chase down his mistake. Sewell will probably start as a pass-rushing LB, but he can play the run and get after the QB, so if he is drafted by an LB-needy team, he can be on the field and learn under fire.

Noah Sewell 2023 NFL Draft Outlook

A physical, thickly-built linebacker who lacks some of the speed and fluidity of many recent top picks at the position but who looks right at home diagnosing and flowing to the ball in the run game, showing an impressive combination of instincts/recognition skills, short-area quickness, toughness, and physicality. Would probably fit best on the inside of an odd defensive front, where he’d be able to work primarily between the tackles, but could hold up on the middle of an even front as well.
