B.J. Ojulari Dynasty Rookie Draft Outlook

The brother of Azeez Ojulari of the NYG, B.J. wins with speed and bend around the edge. Ojualri is your typical ‘speed-rusher’ but he is also very technically sound and there is meat on the bone as a run defender. He can track down an RB and run downfield a bit as well but he’ll mainly be used as a 3rd down pass-rushing option to start his career. Ojulari lacks size and strength and could project as more of an OLB than a DE in a 4-3 but hopefully, he’ll be able to add some bulk this offseason and continue to going forward. Ojulari leaves LSU as a Team Captain and is a high-character player with a brother already in the NFL so even as a bit of a project he is a very safe bet.

B.J. Ojulari 2023 NFL Draft Outlook

Currently in the mix to be one of the top handful of pass-rushers off the board, as a potential primary option who has the intensity, explosiveness, and flexibility teams look for off the edge, particularly because most of his shortcomings should be possible to address with some extra time/coaching, namely adding additional strength, firing out with better leverage and honing his rush moves/counters. Might fit best as a rush linebacker in an odd front.
