Fantasy Baseball Streaming Pitcher Rankings

As the fantasy baseball season heats up, savvy managers should keep an eye on streaming pitchers who could provide a much-needed boost to their team’s performance. One such waiver wire target to consider is Alex Cobb from the San Francisco Giants, currently rostered in 49% of leagues. The right-handed pitcher has an impressive 2.79 ERA and a 1.50 WHIP over 19.1 innings pitched, with 22 strikeouts and only 3 walks. Facing the St. Louis Cardinals, who have a .3256 WOBA, Cobb’s experience and recent form make him a solid pickup to improve your fantasy pitching staff.

Two other pitchers worth considering are Jose Urquidy from the Houston Astros and Cal Quantrill from the Cleveland Guardians. Urquidy, rostered in 47% of leagues, has a 3.66 ERA and a 1.53 WHIP over 19.2 innings pitched. With 17 strikeouts and 7 walks, Urquidy’s matchup against the Tampa Bay Rays, who have a .3017 WOBA, could result in a strong performance.

Meanwhile, Quantrill, owned in just 25% of leagues, has a 4.15 ERA and a 1.43 WHIP over 21.2 innings pitched. With 13 strikeouts and 6 walks, Quantrill will be facing the Colorado Rockies away from Coors with a .3125 WOBA, offering another opportunity to capitalize on a favorable matchup. Keep these top three pitchers in mind when looking to bolster your fantasy baseball lineup.
