Fantasy Baseball Prospects to Stash: Christian Encarnacion-Strand, Kyle Manzardo, Jordan Westburg (2023)

Last year was a fantastic year for prospects, but this one might be even better. We have seen so many high-end prospects get the call and the chance to contribute to their big-league organizations. Eury Perez is the latest, as he debuted at 20 years old and 27 days. Only three pitchers this century have debuted at a younger age than Perez.

Baseball is better when MLB teams are putting their best players on the field, even if it is a 20-year-old. So, who is next? What prospects do you need to stash for redraft fantasy baseball leagues? Check out our full prospect stash rankings for the week here.

Top Fantasy Baseball Prospects to Stash

Graduates from the last Stash List: Luis Ortiz, Matt Mervis, Brandon Pfaadt, Gavin Stone

5. Jordan Westburg (2B, 3B, SS) | ETA: May

Jordan Westburg has been one of the best hitters in the minors this year. He is slashing .321/.395/.626 with 11 home runs and four stolen bases. The Orioles have been non-committal about bringing him up, but it is just a matter of time until he forces their hand.

6. Kyle Manzardo (1B – TB) | ETA: May

Kyle Manzardo is hitting the ball harder than ever and still making high-end contact. This season, he has set a new max exit velocity by nearly four mph. Manzardo is elite.

7. Christian Encarnacion-Strand (1B – CIN) | ETA: June

Christian Encarnacion-Strand has a hyper-aggressive approach but big power. He has never hit below .296 at any MILB stop despite being aggressive. Encarnacion-Strand is currently slashing .341/.371/.706 with nine home runs in 19 Triple-A games.
