Dynasty Trade Advice: Keenan Allen, Theo Johnson, Isaiah Likely (2024 Fantasy Football)

It’s the time of year when dynasty managers are looking for a spark on their rosters. Given their current costs combined with their expected production, these are players I’m looking to trade for. It’s tough to predict the future, but if you trade for someone at what you think is their worst-case scenario value, then you aren’t risking much. Let’s get into it. Here are players to trade for and buy now in dynasty fantasy football leagues.

Dynasty Trade Advice: Players to Buy

Keenan Allen (WR – CHI)

Another veteran I can’t quit is new Chicago Bears Keenan Allen. He underperformed in his last season in Los Angeles, but overall as a Charger, he was a stud. Now he gets to play on a team that could use a veteran presence. He also gets to play with number one draft pick Caleb Williams at quarterback. I am fully on board with an Allen resurgence. If I’m contending I want him on my roster for the small price I’ll probably have to pay to do so.

Theo Johnson (TE – NYG)

It’s hard to pick rookie tight ends to buy since they usually take longer to produce. That said, I think Theo Johnson is thrown into the deep end for the Giants this year. Rumor has it that current starting TE Darren Waller is going to retire. If that happens, all that stands between Johnson and a starting job is Daniel Bellinger. Let’s just say I’m not that worried and would be happy to add Johnson where I can just in case the Waller rumors pan out. At the very least, you can stash Johnson while he gets up to speed for next season and beyond.

Isaiah Likely (TE – BAL)

Last on this list is Isaiah Likely, who is the tight end handcuff to stud Mark Andrews. I know a lot of people were all over Likely last year once Andrews went down, and rightfully so. But given the Ravens’ current passing options or lack thereof, Likely may see the field plenty this year. The team added RB Derrick Henry from the Titans, so I expect them to run a lot. That could also set up for a terrific short passing game, which would benefit someone like Likely. He’s worth keeping an eye on in shallower leagues and worth a late rookie pick in deeper ones.
