Live Fantasy Football Discord AMA with Pat Fitzmaurice
Pat Fitzmaurice: Hey @everyone. Live chat starting now in the Pat Fitzmaurice AMA channel. See you there!
Javy1: If you are in a TE-premium league, how much do you move up the TEs?
Pat Fitzmaurice: A little. But here’s the thing. People tend to grossly overreact to TE-premium, which means they draft TEs earlier than they should, which means you get some amazing value on guys at other positions. Honestly, I’m actually more inclined to punt TE in TE-premium leagues than I am in “normal” leagues because of this. I’ll walk away with a sketchy TE but serious firepower at RB and WR.
Jason: Is Ladd McConkey worthy of a 1st round rookie draft selection in a 10-team dynasty, Superflex PPR league?
Pat Fitzmaurice: Yeah, I have him ranked 10th overall in Superflex, and you could make a case that he should be 9th ahead of Keon Coleman. You wouldn’t be reaching.
TheReam: Could you rank your top 3 in order you’d take at that turn if Allen, Mahomes, Hurts, Stroud, Jackson, and Richardson aren’t there? Does the 6-point passing TD change it all to favor the passing QB more than the rushing? Thank you.
Pat Fitzmaurice: 6-point passing TDs don’t change much, honestly. It matters for the guys who turn out to be high-TD outliers, but we don’t know exactly which guys will go off for 35-40 TDs. Rushing stats are more predictable than TD passes. Here are my QB rankings.
aintgondoit: Would you rather stash Rico Dowdle on the better projected Cowboys O? Or JK Dobbins on the more-likely-to-run Chargers?
