Knockout
Knockout is an exciting new survivor fantasy football league. What is survivor fantasy football? Well, it’s just like it sounds. Draft your lineup, use any players you want. But be careful, as you can only start each player once, all season. The lowest scoring entry is eliminated each week. ‘Stop losing, start surviving in the only league where skills are tested, and strategy pays off’.
Strategy
Planning ahead is going to be key for this type of fantasy football format. Our breadth and depth of knowledge will be tested at Fantasy Sports Knockout. Looking ahead to things like byes and unfavorable matchups will be critical to helping put together the strongest possible lineup week in and week out.
Bust out a spreadsheet, or if you’re old school, a pen and paper, and start to identify where you would like to target starting certain players. I say target because fantasy football is full of the unknown, namely performance trends and injuries. Plan ahead, but build some flexibility for the inevitable curveballs that fantasy football tends to throw at us.
Finding a balance between fielding as competitive a team as possible early in the season and keeping enough strong options for when there are only a handful of teams left is going to be crucial. This is part of the challenge at Fantasy Sports Knockout. The concept is simple — survival is not.
