NSFW: Should I start Jordan Addison, Christian Kirk, Khalil Shakir, or Jauan Jennings this week?
Pat Fitzmaurice: I have Kirk ranked a couple of spots ahead of Shakir (and that factors in Shakir not being 100%).
Stewthebaker: Hi Pat. Pick one for this week: Bucky Irving, Terry McLaurin, or Darnell Mooney? Also McConkey was dropped in 12-team PPR. Waivers are thin. How much FAAB you emptying?
Pat Fitzmaurice: McLaurin. And I’m not paying more than $3-$4 for Ladd. Limited value in such an extremely run-heavy offense.
syst_m.: Half PPR. I was offered Patrick Mahomes and Jaylen Waddle for Chase Brown. I already have a C.J. Stroud/Nico Collins stack. Trade seems like a no-brainer, but I’m slow to commit.
Pat Fitzmaurice: Yeah, do it. If Tua comes back in Week 7 or 8 as reported, Waddle is a top-25 WR again. I like Chase Brown, but I don’t think Moss disappears at any point barring injury.
Dmell96: Half-PPR pick one: Michael Pittman Jr., Xavier Lagette, Josh Downs, or Rico Dowdle?
Pat Fitzmaurice: I’d go with Dowdle unless Flacco starts for the Colts, in which case I’d pivot to Pittman.
MattyShips: I have Christian McCaffrey and Jordan Mason, but I’m 1-3. If I can trade CMC for Joe Mixon, James Conner, or Josh Jacobs but keep Mason, do I do that?
Pat Fitzmaurice: Yeah. With no clear timetable on CMC’s return (and presumably some ramp-up games once he’s back), I would rather have any of those three.
