Astros manager Joe Espada reiterated Monday that Jose Altuve will play both left field and second base this spring.

The team is not committing to anything permanent. Espada called it an “everyday thing” in terms of how it will evolve, contingent on the feedback he gets from Altuve. It would seem that he will see playing time at both positions during the season.
