2025 NFL Draft Risers & Fallers
Draft Risers
Everyone has heard by now how this year’s quarterback class can’t hold a candle to last year’s unit. However, Dart had an outstanding week at the Senior Bowl. Many scouts believe he helped his stock more than any other offensive player. Reportedly, some teams have the former Ole Miss star as the No. 2 quarterback in the draft class. After starting the pre-draft process as an unlikely first-round pick, Dart is all but a lock to get drafted on Day 1, potentially going as early as the top 10.
TreVeyon Henderson (RB – Ohio State)
While Ashton Jeanty is the clear-cut No. 1 running back in the draft class, there is no consensus on which prospect is second at the position behind him. However, Henderson has gained steam since the start of Ohio State’s playoff run. The explosive running back has gotten some first-round buzz lately, including appearing in a few critical mock drafts over the past week. Meanwhile, some scouts have compared him to Jahmyr Gibbs. If he has an impressive performance at the NFL Combine, Henderson could sneak into the top 20 picks.
The biggest winner from the Senior Bowl was Green. Some questioned his ability to hold up against elite competition after playing at Marshall despite totaling 17 sacks last season. However, he dominated in one-on-one drills, winning nearly every rep. While the former Marshall star won’t replace Abdul Carter and Mykel Williams as the top two edge rushers in the draft class, Green has a fair chance to be the third drafted and top 15 selection if he can continue to build on his success from the Senior Bowl.
Draft Fallers
Some thought Milroe could push his way into the top 10 picks with a strong performance at the Senior Bowl. While his rushing abilities were on full display, the former Alabama star struggled with accuracy during practice. Meanwhile, Jaxon Dart shined in Mobile. Reportedly, the former Ole Miss star surpassed Milroe on most team’s draft boards. While he should test well at the NFL Combine, many have concerns about how Milroe will perform as a passer. His chances of getting drafted on Day 1 seem to be over.
Bond started the 2024 season playing well before an injury limited his production at the end of the year. Meanwhile, Matthew Golden shined as the team’s No. 1 wide receiver, pushing him into the Day 1 mix. Unfortunately, Bond’s first-round buzz has disappeared. Furthermore, there has been little talk about him being a top-50 pick, with Tre Harris and others potentially moving ahead of Bond in wide receiver rankings. The former Texas star will need a massive performance at the NFL Combine to get back into the first-round conversation.
Michigan had arguably the top two interior defensive linemen in college football last year. While Mason Graham remains a top-10 lock, Grant has had little buzz since the end of the season. Meanwhile, scouts have raved about the talent and depth of the defensive line class, as Walter Nolen, Derrick Harmon, and Darius Alexander are in the mix with Grant to be the second interior defensive linemen drafted. The former Michigan star went from being the clear-cut No. 2 defensive lineman in the class to competing with three other prospects.
