The Masters Tournament marks the first major of the 2025 PGA Tour season. It’s a celebration, which includes defending champion, Scottie Scheffler, hosting the annual clubhouse dinner with his own signature menu for all other green jacket winners to enjoy. Scheffler recorded his second win at Augusta National during a record-setting campaign in 2024, which included seven PGA Tour wins and a Summer Olympics Gold Medal victory.
Scheffler has won a green jacket during two of the last three editions of the Masters Tournament, intersected by Jon Rahm in 2023. Augusta National Golf Club, located in Augusta, Georgia, is a lengthy par 72 that challenges every club in a golfer’s bag. It’s a grind. Skill, patience, and fortitude are all required to climb the leaderboard and wind up in contention on Sunday afternoon.
I’ve constructed a full DraftKings lineup for the 2025 Masters Tournament. Six golfers have been added, while staying within my $50,000 salary budget. I’ll analyze each of these players within this PGA DraftKings DFS article. I’ll also focus on previous winners, some of the most relevant betting stats, and dive into the course layout at Augusta National.

Course Overview
Augusta National is a par 72 that runs over 7,550 yards in length. Undulations are found on virtually every hole at this iconic course. From the tee box, to the lightning-fast Bentgrass greens, there are multiple surfaces golfers will need to prepare for when competing at the Masters.
Fairways are overseeded bermudagrass mixed with perennial ryegrass. Each of the 18 holes has its own name and offers plenty of breath-taking views for golf fans and bettors to enjoy during the broadcast.
Four par 3s and four par 5s are strategically placed throughout Augusta National. The first par 5 is on the second hole, running 580 yards on a slight dog-leg left.
The third hole is a 354-yard par 4, offering back-to-back birdie opportunities. Then, a nasty par 3 that’s close to 250 yards in length challenges on the fourth hole. This four-hole start samples a bit of everything to expect when competing at the Masters.
Water hazards are present but the rough and sprawling sand bunkers are the primary obstacles when approaching the green. Once on the Bentgrass greens, the multi-tiered, quick-paced putting surface will frustrate most golfers, adding another layer of difficulty to winning at Augusta National.
Recommended Plays: DraftKings
DraftKings maximum salary is set at $50,000
Scottie Scheffler: $12,400
I’m eating chalk and prioritizing Scottie Scheffler as my premium golfer in all DraftKings DFS lineups this week. He’s going to be heavily owned, so we’re not getting any contrarian angle here. However, Scheffler’s dominance at Augusta National cannot be ignored.
The wins have yet to find Scheffler in 2025 but he was only one stroke away from forcing a playoff against Min Woo Lee at the Texas Children’s Houston Open on Sunday. He’s rounding into form and playing with confidence. Few golfers play better tee-to-green than Scheffler.
His putter remains the X-factor, as it will for almost every other golfer in the field competing at Augusta National. The moment won’t be too big for Scheffler and he’s a wizard with his approach and off-the-tee shots. Let’s not overcomplicate our DraftKings DFS lineups and insert Scheffler at an expensive $12,400 salary.
Russell Henley: $8,400
Due to adding Scheffler, the rest of our build means we have to sift through the mid to low-range of salary brackets. Fortunately at a major, some of the most talented golfers on the PGA Tour become a bit of a discount.
Russell Henley is a great example. Henley has taken a month off following a T30 at The Players Championship. The Georgia native rallied late to win the Arnold Palmer Invitational over Collin Morikawa on March 6th, marking his first outright win of the season.
Henley is averaging 89.3 FPPG and has four top 10s under his belt, including the victory at Bay Hill Club & Lodge in Florida last month. He’s made 15 or more birdies in four of the last five events, including 22 at the Cognizant Classic.
Among the best tee-to-green and on approach, the putter tends to be more of a weapon than a liability for Henley. Let’s make Henley the second golfer in our DraftKings DFS lineups at under an $8.5K salary.
Corey Conners: $7,900
I’m going to continue backing quality ball-strikers in this lineup, so it shouldn’t be surprising to see Corey Conners right here at $7,900. Conners is on a tear right now, recording three straight top-ten finishes, pending how he fares at Valero, where he’s won both times in his PGA Tour career.
Conners is at 79 FPPG and has a whopping five top-10 finishes in eight events since The Sentry on January 9th. His putter has become a bit more consistent, although it remains the obvious flaw in the Canadian’s game.
At $7.9K, I’ll gladly insert Conners into my lineups. Just know he’s going to be a popular golfer this week based on current form, so ownership will remain high.

Sepp Straka: $7,600
We are going to continue to beef up our irons with the addition of Sepp Straka. He’s already won on the PGA Tour in 2025 and has three top-10 finishes in 10 events since January 2nd.
Straka is a ball-striking prodigy and is among the most accurate with his driver. A lengthy course like Augusta National means tee shot accuracy will be key to avoid bad lies, which is an area that the Austrian is consistent.
Putting becomes a bit of a liability with Straka. He’s capable of sticking approach shots inside of 10-15 feet, yet the flat stick tends to disappoint. This is likely why Straka’s available at $7.6K.
He’ll be another popular pick but I have faith in Straka’s tee-to-green game keeping us inside of a top-25 finish after a rare slip outside of this spot with a T28 at Valspar on March 20th.
Aaron Rai: $6,800
Aaron Rai has been absolutely dominant with his driver and irons in 2025. The Englishman picked up right where he left off in 2024, breaking through late in the spring with his first PGA Tour win.
Rai has improved quite a bit with his putter this season. He’s already able to consistently find greens in regulation at over a 70 percent clip, good enough to be 27th in this metric.
Rai missed his second cut of the season at the Texas Children’s Houston Open this past week, shooting an opening 73 that kept him from making the cut line after a 68 in Round 2. Prior to that mishap, Rai had logged between 76.5 and 122 FPPG in three straight events.
If we can get 80 or more points out of Rai at a $6.8K salary, that feels like a good return on investment. One top-10 finish but four top-20 finishes, including three of his past four events played, makes Rai a valuable commodity in DraftKings DFS lineups.
Lucas Glover: $6,600
I cannot quit Lucas Glover. He’s been rock solid tee-to-green and the putter remains an asset in Glover’s hands. He’s our cheapest golfer in this lineup with a $6,600 salary on DraftKings, which feels a bit too generous based on recent performances.
Glover has an 80.5 FPPG average with three top-10 finishes in his previous seven events played. Three missed cuts since debuting at the Sony Open in Hawaii on January 9th is a reason for Glover’s discount.
In recent events, the PGA Tour veteran has showcased his ball-striking, recording a T3 at The Players Championship and following that effort up with a T8 at the Valspar Championship.
Yes, Augusta National is not a Florida course. However, Glover’s game will translate well, especially with his precision off-the-tee and on approach. He’s ranked 19th in total strokes gained, including 25th on approach, third in driving accuracy, and fifth in proximity.
Putting metrics are even tastier for Glover. He’s 12th in putting average, 13th in putts per round, and 26th for birdie average at 4.39 per round this season. Let’s wrap up our DraftKings DFS lineup with a huge value addition by taking Lucas Glover at $6.6K.
