Thursday’s NBA Sleeper Picks Player Prediction: Pascal Siakam, Karl-Anthony Towns, Jalen Brunson (5/29)

NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (5/29)

Pascal Siakam (F – IND): 14.5 points (alt line)

Siakam is listed at just 19.5 for tonight, which, after the last game, may feel like a value, especially if you forgot about Game 3. Siakam has scored 30+ points twice in this series (Game 2 and Game 4), but managed just 17 points in the two others. With that in mind, the only points play on Siakam is the alt line. He can explode past 19.5, but as he has proven, Pascal can easily end up in the high teens and fail to hit the full number. Slap the More on Siakam for Thursday night basketball.

Pick: More

Karl-Anthony Towns (F/C – NYK): 19.5 points (alt line)

KAT is likely to come out aggressive in tonight’s game, especially if his knee is still giving him issues. For his part, Towns has been rock solid in this series, scoring at least 20 points in all four games while coming up with some legacy building fourth quarter heroics in Game 3. While you can still see him taking plays off, his impact in this series can not be understated. Tap the More on Towns for Thursday night at Sleeper Picks.

Pick: More

Jalen Brunson (G – NYK): 19.5 points (alt line)

At this point, we all know, barring injury, that Brunson is going to score at least 20 points. There are no sure things in life, never mind in sports, but Brunson hoisting up close to 20 shots with the Knicks’ playoffs lives on the line is almost a given. Jalen has scored 31 or more points in three of the four games in this series while dropping 23 in the other (foul issues limited his playing time, and he shot .333 from the field). The 24.5 has some appeal here, but as any regular reader of this column would know, we are willing to sacrifice some multiplier for greatly increased probability. Bump the More on Brunson for Thursday night’s NBA action.

Pick: More

Writers note: The lines are constantly changing on Sleeper (and sometimes expiring), so there is a high probability that one or all of the numbers may no longer be the same when you open your app. There are excellent values when they are first posted, with the only catch being that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
