If you’re not trading, you’re not winning. Every day is a great day to make a trade in dynasty. We all have our targets, but sometimes it can be helpful to look outside of your league to see which players other league managers are targeting. Here are some buy-low dynasty trade targets to acquire as we head into the season.

Buy-Low Dynasty Trade Targets: Running Backs
Kaleb Johnson (RB – PIT)
I get that rookie fever is still in full effect, but Kaleb Johnson is going too low. His current dynasty ECR is RB18, just behind fellow rookie TreVeyon Henderson, injury-prone Christian McCaffrey and ageless wonder Derrick Henry. I’d probably take him over all three of these players due to the combination of his talent and opportunity.
The Steelers could be a rough team this year, but Johnson could benefit the most from the chaos on offense. The Steelers have a propensity to lean on their running backs, especially when nothing else is going right. Buy Johnson now before he becomes a top-12 dynasty back by Week 3.
James Conner (RB – ARI)
Kyler Murray’s teammate, James Conner, makes the list because he’s in line for a huge 2025. Next season? Who knows, but that’s why his dynasty ECR is RB29. He’s ranked just ahead of Giants running backs Tyrone Tracy and Cam Skattebo and just behind Isiah Pacheco and Brian Robinson Jr. I’d gladly take him over all of these players, even in dynasty and at his age. Conner should have a great season, and whether you need his points or not, once he starts scoring them, his value should see a bump. Buy now before the price bump.
Rhamondre Stevenson (RB – NE)
Rhamondre Stevenson’s price keeps dropping, so I’m still buying. At the moment, he’s ranked as the dynasty RB39 in ECR, just behind Trey Benson, Bhayshul Tuten and Jaylen Warren. This is backup running back territory, which feels right, but Stevenson has more upside than those ahead of him.
TreVeyon Henderson should be the next man up, but it might take a few weeks into the regular season until he’s the No. 1 RB in New England. Until then, Stevenson should get plenty of carries and the fantasy points that go along with them. I’m adding him to contending teams if I can get him cheap enough, just in case an injury hits and I need a spot starter in my lineup.
