The TOUR Championship marks the third and final FedExCup playoff event of the 2025 PGA Tour season. Starting strokes is no longer the format, meaning all 30 golfers who qualified to compete in this field will all start at even par in Round 1.
DFS salaries are reduced for great golfers this week due to the lack of size in the field. Without a cut line, everyone will be aggressive in their pursuit of the FedEx Cup title, with a $10 million prize awarded to the champion.
World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler is attempting to become the first golfer to win back-to-back FedEx Cup championships. He just flexed his muscle with a Sunday comeback at the BMW Championship, erasing a four-stroke deficit and capping it off with an 80-foot chip for birdie from the rough to beat Robert MacIntyre on Sunday.
Last week, my 2025 BMW Championship DFS picks fared well, with three of four golfers logging a Top 20 finish or better at Caves Valley Golf Club. Let’s close out the 2025 PGA Tour regular season and cash entries in DraftKings and FanDuel contests during the 2025 TOUR Championship.

Course Overview
East Lake Golf Club has played host for the TOUR Championship every year since becoming the permanent site in 2005. It’s back to playing as a par 70, running 7,440 yards in length. There are four par 3s and two par 5s, including a 585-yard par 5 on the 18th hole.
TifEagle bermudagrass greens were installed last season and are expected to run fast at 13.5 feet via Stimpmeter. Rough sits at 3.5 inches, so accuracy off-the-tee is paramount at a track that runs nearly 7,500 yards.
Water hazards are present but not overwhelming at East Lake. New trees have been planted to challenge off-the-tee and on approach, while returning golfers who did not qualify for the 2024 TOUR Championship will have to adjust to greens with bigger surface areas that are comprised of a new, faster surface.
Recommended Plays: DraftKings
DraftKings maximum salary is set at $50,000
Cameron Young: $7,900
Cameron Young is playing his best golf right now, which makes sense consI recommended him last week and he carded a solo 11th-place finish, so there’s no reason to fade him during his second appearance at East Lake.
Ranks 27th in total strokes gained, including 13th SG: Putting and 19th driving distance. Sitting at 17th in birdie average, Young’s powerful driver and accurate putting make him a good fit for churning out a third top 10 finish in his last four events.
Ben Griffin: $7,700
Another golfer who has had a ton of success in 2025 is Ben Griffin. He’s a high value addition to lineups at under $8,000 on DraftKings this week.
Making his TOUR Championship debut, Griffin ranks eighth in total strokes gained metrics, including 27th SG: Approach and 23rd SG: Putting. This has led to the 29-year-old averaging 69.5 per round, ranked 15th on the PGA Tour in scoring average.
23rd for par 4 scoring and 24th in bogey avoidance is enticing enough to bite on Griffin at this price.

FanDuel maximum salary is set at $60,000
J.J. Spaun: $10,400
The 2025 U.S. Open winner, J.J. Spaun, is in top form ahead of his TOUR Championship debut. He nearly won the first playoff event during the FedEx St. Jude Championship, losing in a multi-hole playoff to Justin Rose.
Now, Spaun has his sights set on the FedEx Cup title. He’s ranked sixth SG: Approach, 22nd total driving and 19th proximity. Also top 30 in scoring average and 23rd for par 4s.
Spaun is among the top-ten salaries on FanDuel. However, his iron game is pure, while he’s among the best at finding fairways. It’s enough to make me want to pay up to acquire his production at $10,400.
Harry Hall: $8,600
I’m backing another golfer making his first outing at the TOUR Championship and inserting Harry Hall into lineups. The Englishman is among the best putters on the PGA Tour and also possesses an elite short game around the greens.
While Hall’s tee-to-green game is among the worst in this field, he’s top-five for SG: Putting and sixth scrambling. Also paces the entire PGA Tour in putting average and putts per round. It’s why Hall is first in birdie average, while also second in par 4s and scoring average.
It’s a bit of a high-risk, high-reward play. Yet, Hall’s putter is too hot to fade at a modest salary.
