The first of three FedExCup Playoff events tees off during the 2025 FedEx St. Jude Championship this week. Played at TPC Southwind, a par 70, with renovated greens, all golfers in this field finished 70th or better in the FedExCup Rankings to qualify.
No cut line will be enforced this week, although starting strokes will remain in effect until the TOUR Championship. That will be the third and final playoff event featuring the PGA Tour’s top 30 golfers who qualify through the FedEx St. Jude Championship and BMW Championship.
My PGA DraftKings and FanDuel DFS Primer: Wyndham Championship DFS Primer didn’t have much success overall. Beau Hossler’s T15 finish was the best performance, while Ryan Gerard missed the cut. Emiliano Grillo (T44) and William Mouw (T38) finished outside the top 25, as Cameron Young put on a clinic en route to his first PGA Tour victory.
Here are four of my favorite golfers to plug into DFS lineups at the FedEx St. Jude Championship this week. Follow me on X at Matt_MacKay_ for more PGA free picks and analysis heading into Thursday’s opening round from Memphis, Tennessee.

Course Overview
TPC Southwind is a par 70 running 7,282 yards in Memphis, Tennessee. Undulations and new TifEagle Bermudagrass greens measure up to 12.5 feet via Stimpmeter.
Greens average 4,500 square feet, meaning these are smaller targets than the PGA Tour average. Water hazards can be found on the majority of holes, along with tree-lined and doglegged fairways comprised of Zoysiagrass. Primary rough stands at three inches.
Forecast calls for hot, humid conditions with minimal wind expected. Approach shots will become target practice without much wind resistance, while green speeds could become faster due to being crisped by 90 degree temperatures.
Recommended Plays: DraftKings
DraftKings maximum salary is set at $50,000
Harry Hall: $7,900
It’s Harry Hall’s FedEx St. Jude Championship debut and he’s playing with plenty of confidence. The 27-year-old Englishman leads the PGA Tour in SG: Putting and birdie average, which bodes well for his production at TPC Southwind.
Hall has logged between 18-21 birdies in four consecutive events leading up to Round 1 at the FedEx St. Jude Championship. He’s 44th in the FedExCup Rankings, so he’ll need to be aggressive to stay inside the top 50 to qualify for the BMW Championship next week.
Lucas Glover: $7,000
One of the most under-the-radar golfers on this field has to be Lucas Glover. The 45-year-old American won this event in 2023 and has five top 10 finishes in 2025.
Glover ranks inside the top 40 for total strokes gained this season, including 24th SG: Approach. 11th in driving accuracy and fifth proximity, Glover is also 50th in putting average.
Due to a missed cut at the Wyndham Championship last week, Glover is a high-value addition to lineups at $7K on DraftKings.

Recommended Plays: FanDuel
FanDuel maximum salary is set at $60,000
Wyndham Clark: $9,000
One of the hottest golfers on the PGA Tour over the last month, Wyndham Clark enters Memphis with momentum, posting T11-T4-T12 finishes in his last three events played. Clark is currently 49th in the FedExCup Rankings, so he’ll need a strong outing to stay inside the top 50 to advance to the BMW Championship.
Ranks 11th in birdie average, eighth in putting average and 24th in one-putt percentage. Also 25th for driving distance.
Coming off of a T7 finish at the 2024 FedEx St. Jude Championship, so based on current form, I’m willing to pay $9K to acquire Clark in FanDuel DFS lineups.
Brian Harman: $8,100
Brian Harman is another high-value addition at $8.1K on FanDuel. He’s got four top 10 finishes in 2025, including an outright win at the Valero Texas Open in windy conditions.
Harman ranks 48th in driving accuracy and 35th in sand save percentage. He’s recorded a pair of top 10 finishes in the Travelers Championship and the Open Championship in two of his previous three events, leading to his current 20th FedExCup ranking.
Best finish at TPC Southwind came off of a T3 in 2022. Harman’s ability to avoid bad lies off the tee is the primary appeal at this price, so go ahead and fire him up in FanDuel DFS contests this week.
