Week 8 still has the Kansas City Chiefs versus Washington Commanders on Monday night left to play, but there are some injuries to highlight, including, unfortunately, a running back who suffered what is more than likely a season-ending injury.
Check them out below to help you prepare for Week 9. And check out all of our fantasy football waiver wire pickups for the week.

Fantasy Football Injury Updates
Running Back
Cam Skattebo (RB – NYG)
Cam Skattebo suffered a gruesome ankle injury in the Giants’ loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. While I may not be a doctor, I can say with a fair degree of certainty that his season is over.
In his place will be Tyrone Tracy Jr. and Devin Singletary. If either is available in your league, they’re a must-add off the waiver wire this week.
Quinshon Judkins (RB – CLE)
Quinshon Judkins was ruled out during the Browns’ 32-13 loss to the New England Patriots with a shoulder injury. This will certainly be something to monitor. If he misses time, the next man up appears to be Dylan Sampson, as he handled 16.5% of the running back carries, which is ahead of Jerome Ford‘s 12.4%.
Still, a timeshare could also be in order.
Saquon Barkley (RB – PHI)
Saquon Barkley missed the fourth quarter of the Eagles’ win over the Giants with a groin injury. Barkley said he’d be fine, as he’s dealt with this before, but groin injuries are always something to be wary of.
Looking toward Tank Bigsby could be a solid idea, but keep in mind the Eagles have a Week 9 bye.
Wide Receiver
Luther Burden III (WR – CHI)
Luther Burden III left the Bears’ loss to the Baltimore Ravens with a concussion. He’s seen just 15 targets this season, so he’s likely not someone you have on your roster.
Braxton Berrios (WR – HOU)
Braxton Berrios suffered a chest injury in the Texans’ win over the San Francisco 49ers. He’s a non-factor in fantasy football, though.
D’Wayne Eskridge (WR – MIA)
D’Wayne Eskridge was ruled out during the Dolphins’ win over the Atlanta Falcons with a shoulder injury. He’s also a non-factor in fantasy football.
Tight End
Daniel Bellinger (TE – NYG)
Daniel Bellinger left the Giants’ loss early with a neck injury. He drew five targets over the last two weeks and had over 100 yards and a touchdown.
However, even when he’s on the field, Bellinger is an unreliable tight end to roster.
