Fantasy Football Outlook: Will Deebo Samuel Play Week 7?

Deebo Samuel Sr. (heel) questionable for Sunday
Deebo Samuel Sr. (heel) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Fantasy Impact

Samuel is at risk of missing Sunday’s game due to a heel injury. He’s officially considered questionable to play right now, and the team will make a decision about his availability closer to game time. Terry McLaurin (quad) has already been ruled out for this game, so if Samuel is sidelined as well, players like Jaylin Lane and Luke McCaffrey will be primed for a lot more work than usual against the Cowboys.

What the Experts Are Saying

Despite being cleared to play, Samuel didn’t appear to be fully healthy on Monday Night. Finishing with a season low in fantasy points and total touches, Samuel was likely hampered from his heel injury. It will be worth monitoring the reports, as the Commanders have another great matchup coming up against an abysmal Cowboys defense. The Cowboys have allowed the most fantasy points to the WR position, with an average of 171 yards and two touchdowns per game. Terry McLaurin may be returning from his injury this week. Since there will be plenty of production to go around, his return could help spring Deebo by spreading out the defense. Expect Deebo to bounce back this week in another great matchup for fantasy.
