Fantasy Football Risers & Fallers: Devy Leagues (Week 10)

Week 10 of the college football season delivered high-stakes matchups, shocking upsets and standout performances from players across the country. In this weekly breakdown, we examine the aftermath of the weekend’s action, spotlighting the biggest devy fantasy football risers and fallers in the college football landscape.

Created by Scott Fish in the 1990s, the devy format is rapidly gaining traction as one of the most exciting formats in fantasy football. Often described as a “dynasty league on steroids,” devy fantasy football allows managers to draft and stash college players well before they declare for the NFL Draft.

The devy format demands deeper research and sharper projections than a traditional dynasty league, but we’re here to help you navigate it every step of the way. Each week, we’ll highlight the most significant value shifts based on NCAA action and what it means moving forward.

When we talk about risers, we’re referring to players whose value has climbed due to strong on-field performance. For fallers, the picture is more complex. Injuries, reduced playing time and other situational factors can all contribute to a drop in perceived value.

Devy Fantasy Football Risers & Fallers

Devy Risers

Chauncey Bowens (RB – Georgia)

Freshman running back Chauncey Bowens had another strong showing against Florida in Week 10, rushing for 70 yards and a touchdown on just nine carries. He displayed impressive burst and vision, consistently finding daylight and maximizing yardage after contact.

This season, Bowens has quietly outproduced Nate Frazier despite receiving eight fewer opportunities. He leads Georgia in rushing yards and touchdowns, and his ability to deliver in high-pressure moments like the Florida game adds weight to his devy appeal.

Displaying the kind of traits that get early-round attention, Bowens is positioning himself as one of the top backs to monitor in the 2028 NFL Draft cycle. His ability to command touches in a crowded Georgia backfield as a true freshman only strengthens his long-term trajectory.

Darian Mensah (QB – Duke)

Darian Mensah’s NFL Draft outlook continues to gain momentum after a standout performance in Duke’s 46-45 win over Clemson. He completed 27-of-41 passes for 361 yards and four touchdowns, including a 94-yard game-winning drive that showcased his poise and command under pressure.

Through eight games, Mensah has thrown 21 touchdowns with only two interceptions, a mark that underscores his control and efficiency as a passer. His accuracy, decision-making and ability to deliver in high-leverage moments are helping him stand out among the growing field of 2027 quarterback prospects. If he keeps producing in big spots, he could go from under-the-radar to the top of his class.

Devy Fallers

Aidan Chiles (QB – Michigan State)

Michigan State quarterback Aidan Chiles was benched in favor of Alessio Milivojevic in Week 10, a clear setback to his devy stock. Once viewed as a promising dual-threat prospect, Chiles failed to ignite the Spartans’ offense during a five-game skid, with a quiet outing against rival Michigan in Week 9 triggering the switch.

Milivojevic seized the opportunity against Minnesota, throwing for 311 yards with no turnovers and showing the poise and rhythm that had eluded Chiles in recent weeks. The contrast was stark, raising immediate questions about the Spartans’ quarterback direction moving forward.

Though Chiles still boasts high-end athleticism and a live arm that once made him a coveted devy asset, this season has raised concerns about his consistency, processing and leadership. If he can’t reclaim the starting role and convert his raw tools into production, his path to early-round draft capital becomes far less certain.

Dylan Raiola (QB – Nebraska)

Dylan Raiola will miss the rest of the season after suffering a broken fibula in Nebraska’s 21-17 loss to USC. The injury occurred on a third-quarter strip sack as Raiola was stepping up in the pocket, forcing freshman TJ Lateef into action for the remainder of the game and likely the final stretch of the season.

For devy analysts, the setback pauses Raiola’s development but doesn’t alter his long-term outlook. With a typical recovery timeline of 3-6 months, he’s expected to be at full strength by next season and remains firmly in the 2027 quarterback conversation.
