Renegade Fantasy Football: Week 10 Targets

Rico Dowdle (RB – CAR)

Rico Dowdle is the starting running back in Carolina. It is quite inexplicable that Carolina chose to go back to Chuba Hubbard as their lead back after Dowdle produced a historic stretch, but considering the organization in question, the call to go back to Chuba likely came from upstairs. Dowdle has been impressive beyond measure this season and currently sits third in the league with 793 rushing yards, 519 of which have come in his three starts. For context, Saquon Barkley has 519 rushing yards, all season. Suffice it to say that Dowdle should now be considered an easy RB1 option for a tasty Week 10 matchup against the tanking New Orleans Saints. Target Rico where possible for Week 10 at Renegade Fantasy.

Rashid Shaheed (WR – SEA)

Hidden for years in the quagmire known as the New Orleans Saints offense, one of the most explosive players in the NFL has a new lease on life with the move to the Seattle Seahawks. Yes, it’s hard to be truly hidden when you’re 15th in the league with 499 receiving yards through nine weeks of action, but the non fantasy football manager outside of New Orleans may not have ever seen Shaheed play outside of some highlights on RedZone or SportsCenter. Rashid is expected to immediately supplant the struggling and injured Cooper Kupp as the team’s number two option, and should thrive with a gunslinging quarterback who isn’t afraid to make mistakes. Count Shaheed as a WR2 option for a Week 10 matchup against an Arizona Cardinals team he hauled in six of nine targets against earlier this season. Target Shaheed in the mid to late rounds of your Week 10 Renegade Fantasy drafts.

Matthew Stafford (WR – LAR)

Look, I get it. Matthew Stafford isn’t who many envision when they think fantasy football QB1 in 2025. But with 17 passing touchdowns in his last five games and a rematch against an opponent that he hung 389 passing yards and three touchdowns on just five weeks ago, it would be irresponsible not to consider him one. For context, heading into Week 10, only one player has thrown more than 17 touchdowns all season. Old man Stafford checks into Week 10 as the QB9 overall on the season and has been the QB3 in fppg over the last six weeks. Stafford having two number one wide receivers and a competent running game, coupled with the Rams’ defense, is what Super Bowl dreams are made of. Target him with confidence as your starter or backup with an eye on a potential real-time substitution for Week 10 at Renegade Fantasy.
