We’re heading to Charlotte, North Carolina’s iconic Quail Hollow Club for the upcoming 2026 Truist Championship. It’s another Signature Event, meaning a small field of 72 golfers will compete without a cut line.
Scottie Scheffler’s absence, combined with Rory McIlroy’s return, means oddsmakers are all over the back-to-back Masters champion to win this week. It’s warranted, with McIlroy posting four victories at this venue.
Quail Hollow is a par 71 that plays over 7,500 yards, featuring plenty of water hazards. The “Green Mile” closing stretch is a par 4-par 3-par 4 that is sure to test the field this week in Charlotte. Bermudagrass surfaces include 2.5-inch rough and a fast 13-foot Stimpmeter reading on greens that are slightly bigger than regulation.
My PGA DFS Lineup Advice: Top Golfers (2026 Cadillac Championship) had a few notable performances at Trump National Doral last week. Si Woo Kim carded a T4 finish from Tier 1, while Collin Morikawa’s T62 negated that production. In Tier 2, Justin Rose was a disaster with his new clubs, posting a T65 finish at +2. Min Woo Lee fared much better with a T18 finish, while Tier 3 saw Aldrich Potgieter’s T14 finish return value at a low salary. Gary Woodland’s T38 finish didn’t move the needle in either direction.

Matt Fitzpatrick is riding a heater into the Truist Championship. The Englishman has two outright wins in standard stroke play, while carding a third victory with his brother, Alex Fitzpatrick, during his last outing at the 2026 Zurich Classic of New Orleans.
Fitzpatrick’s stats are top-tier in 2026. He’s ranked second in total strokes gained, including fifth SG: Approach, second in total driving, and seventh in proximity. As a result, he’s top-10 in scoring average, par 4 scoring, and birdie average.
Ludvig Åberg is well-rested following his T4 finish at the RBC Heritage. The Swede ranks fourth in total strokes gained this season, including 20th SG: Approach and 28th SG: Off-the-Tee.
Putting is also a strength for Åberg, ranked top-40 in SG: Putting. Sits sixth in proximity, eighth in 200+ yard approach shots, and fifth in putting average. Åberg’s Tier 1 salary is justified by his all-around game on the golf course right now.

| Ben Griffin |

Adam Scott has turned back the clock and found his rhythm in 2026. The 45-year-old Aussie is coming off a T4 finish at the Cadillac Championship, totaling three top 20 finishes and two top 10 finishes this season.
The veteran leads the PGA Tour in SG: Approach, while also sitting 16th in total driving and 13th in total strokes gained. Scott’s fifth in proximity and sixth at finding greens in regulation, leading to 16th in scoring average.
Ben Griffin is another golfer who got going at Trump National Doral this past weekend. The North Carolina native logged a solo third-place finish, while ranking 43rd in SG: Putting.
Griffin is a bit more of a boom-bust prospect than Scott. However, his short game masks flaws with his irons. Also a beast off-the-tee, which could lead to a third straight top 10 finish at Quail Hollow this weekend.

| Webb Simpson |

Alex Fitzpatrick has only played two PGA Tour events this year, but he’s either won or posted a top 10 finish. Thanks to pairing up with his brother, Matt Fitzpatrick, to earn a PGA Tour card with a win at the Zurich Classic, Alex competed at the Cadillac Championship to log a T9 finish.
Now, Fitzpatrick will make his debut at Quail Hollow. His game is well-rounded, particularly tee-to-green, so at a cheap Tier 3 salary, make sure to prioritize the other Fitzpatrick brother in your DFS lineups this week.
Webb Simpson is a wily veteran who is very familiar with Quail Hollow. The 40-year-old Charlotte resident has a top 20 finish this year at the Valspar Championship.
Historically, Simpson has a pair of top 5 finishes at this course. He’s definitely a boom-or-bust prospect at the bottom of Tier 3 salaries, so we’re banking on Simpson to log a second top 20 finish to return value at his reduced price this week.
