5 Dynasty Players We’re Buying Now (2026 Fantasy Football)

Dynasty fantasy football is all about timing.

The best trades often happen before a player breaks out, before the market catches up, and before managers fully realize what they have on their roster. That’s what makes identifying dynasty buy candidates so important. You’re not just chasing production. You’re chasing future value.

In this discussion, several players stood out as targets the FantasyPros analysts are actively trying to acquire in dynasty leagues. Some are proven veterans whose value has dipped. Others are younger players who could be on the verge of significant role expansion.

2026 Fantasy Football Draft Advice: Overvalued Running Backs to Avoid

Here are five dynasty assets the panel believes are worth targeting right now.

    Bucky Irving (RB – TB)

Bucky Irving may be one of the most misunderstood dynasty assets entering the season.

A combination of injury concerns, a disappointing statistical season, and the arrival of Kenneth Gainwell has caused many dynasty managers to lower expectations. The analysts aren’t buying that narrative.

The discussion repeatedly emphasized that Irving’s decline in production coincided with both injuries and deteriorating offensive line play. Tampa Bay’s run-blocking metrics fell dramatically compared to the previous season, which coincided with significant drops in Irving’s efficiency metrics.

More importantly, the panel doesn’t believe Gainwell represents a serious threat to Irving’s workload.

Even during what was considered a disappointing campaign, Irving averaged more than 20 touches per game. That’s workhorse usage in today’s NFL. When he returned from injury, Tampa Bay immediately restored him to a featured role rather than easing him back into the lineup.

The takeaway was clear: if dynasty managers are discounting Irving because of injury fears or concerns about a committee, this may be one of the best opportunities to buy.

    Emeka Egbuka (WR – TB)

Few players received more unanimous praise than Emeka Egbuka.

The argument starts with what happened when both Egbuka and Baker Mayfield were healthy last season. During that stretch, Egbuka produced at a WR1 level despite sharing the field with established veterans.

The panel pointed to his early-season production as evidence that his breakout may already be underway.

What has changed since then is opportunity.

The analysts discussed a path where Egbuka becomes Tampa Bay’s primary target earner. Concerns about target competition that existed when he first entered the league have largely faded, and several panelists suggested his dynasty ranking still doesn’t fully reflect his ceiling.

One analyst projected Egbuka as a future top-six or top-seven fantasy receiver, while another ranked him inside his dynasty top 10 at the position.

When multiple dynasty analysts are willing to pay full market price for a player, that’s usually a signal worth paying attention to.

    Blake Corum (RB – LAR)

Not every dynasty target needs to be a current starter.

Sometimes the most valuable assets are the players one injury away from becoming league winners.

That’s the appeal with Blake Corum.

The discussion highlighted the role Corum carved out despite operating behind Kyren Williams. Even as a secondary option, he earned meaningful snaps, carries, and standalone usability in fantasy lineups.

The analysts believe there are multiple pathways to increased value.

One involves game script. If the Rams spend more time protecting leads, Corum could see additional work closing out games. Another involves touchdown opportunity near the goal line. And of course, there’s the possibility that a larger role emerges if circumstances change in the backfield.

The panel repeatedly emphasized that Corum remains surprisingly affordable relative to his upside.

For dynasty managers searching for a running back whose value could appreciate quickly, Corum checks a lot of boxes.

    TreVeyon Henderson (RB – NE)

TreVeyon Henderson generated one of the strongest endorsements of the episode.

Despite already carrying a healthy dynasty valuation, the analysts argued that his best football may still be ahead of him.

    The discussion centered around talent.

Henderson flashed explosive-play ability throughout the season and posted strong efficiency metrics despite sharing work. The biggest obstacles limiting his role were pass protection and route-running responsibilities, areas that Henderson reportedly focused on improving throughout the offseason.

That’s important because those weaknesses contributed directly to reduced playing time late in the year.

The analysts viewed that late-season downturn as an opportunity rather than a warning sign.

Several successful fantasy running backs have taken significant second-year leaps, and the panel sees Henderson as a strong candidate to follow a similar path. In fact, both analysts discussing him preferred Henderson over Bucky Irving in dynasty rankings despite their optimism about Irving.

That’s a strong statement considering how highly they spoke about both players.

    Christian Watson (WR – GB)

Christian Watson remains one of the most polarizing players in dynasty football.

    The concerns are obvious.

Injuries have repeatedly interrupted his career, and many managers have reached the point where they simply assume he’ll miss time.

The analysts argued that assumption is creating a buying opportunity.

Watson’s production after returning from injury last season was impressive. During a relatively small sample, he produced explosive efficiency metrics while pacing toward a highly productive full-season pace.

What stood out most was the discussion around ceiling.

Watson’s combination of size, speed, and big-play ability continues to create weekly fantasy-winning upside. The panel also noted that Green Bay’s receiving hierarchy appears much less crowded than it has been in previous years.

Because dynasty managers remain focused on injury risk, Watson’s trade value hasn’t fully caught up to his potential.

That disconnect is exactly what dynasty buyers should be looking for.

    The Common Theme: Buy Uncertainty

The most interesting takeaway from this discussion wasn’t tied to any one player.

It was the idea that dynasty value often emerges when uncertainty creates discounts.

Irving is discounted because of injuries. Egbuka because his breakout wasn’t sustained for a full season. Corum because he’s not a starter. Henderson because of a frustrating finish to last year. Watson because managers are tired of betting on his health.

    Those concerns are real.

But when talent and opportunity remain intact, uncertainty can create some of the best buying windows in dynasty fantasy football.
