Fantasy Baseball Prospects to Stash: Week 13

Fantasy Baseball Prospects to Stash: Week 13

We saw a few fantasy baseball prospects get the call this past week. Unfortunately, none were from our Week 12 stash list. However, this week brings several intriguing names who could realistically make the jump soon. I’ve also added a few new players worth considering in deeper formats.

I almost dropped Cooper Ingle from the list entirely until he responded with a three-home run outburst. Maybe threatening to remove players is the secret motivational tool we’ve been missing. Meanwhile, Kaelen Culpepper landed on the Triple‑A injured list (IL) with a hip strain. We hope for a quick recovery, but he’s been removed from this week’s stash list.

Fantasy Baseball Prospects to Stash

Joshua Baez (OF – STL) | Top 100 Prospect Ranking: 65

  • Current Level: Triple-A
  • ETA: June

Joshua Baez has become one of the hottest names in the minors. Over his last 10 games, he’s launched eight home runs while hitting an even .300. The strikeouts remain a concern, 9:3 K:BB last week and a 33% strikeout rate in Triple‑A for the season, but the power surge is impossible to ignore.

Baez is on the verge of a call‑up, and while he isn’t a must‑add in three-outfielder leagues, he’s absolutely worth a flier in deeper formats or any five-outfielder leagues.

River Ryan (SP – LAD) | Top 100 Prospect Ranking: 77

  • Current Level: Triple-A
  • ETA: June/July

River Ryan struggled again in his most recent outing, lasting just 4.1 innings while allowing eight earned runs on 10 hits with only three strikeouts. That’s not what we want to see from a pitcher expected to debut soon.

Even so, Ryan still profiles as one of the likeliest pitching prospects to be called up next. However, he must rebound in his next start. If he doesn’t, we may need to reconsider the viability of his stash.

Luis Lara (OF – MIL) | Top 100 Prospect Ranking: 91

  • Current Level: Triple-A
  • ETA: July

After cooling off for a couple of weeks, Luis Lara appears to be heating up again. He’s riding a four‑game hit streak, including a 5‑for‑5 performance.

That said, the power has disappeared — zero home runs and just one extra‑base hit in his last 10 games. Even more concerning is that Lara attempted three steals and was caught all three times.

This looks like a temporary slump, and I expect Lara to regain his form soon. Still, a call‑up likely won’t come until after the All‑Star break.

Charlie Condon (1B, OF – COL) | Top 100 Prospect Ranking: 75

  • Current Level: Triple-A
  • ETA: July

Charlie Condon returns to this list after a dominant stretch. Over his last 10 games, he’s hitting .368 with four home runs, three triples and 17 RBI. His six walks and six strikeouts show improved discipline.

If Condon keeps this up, a promotion is coming fast. If you need help at first base or corner outfield, stash him now.

Kade Anderson (SP – SEA) | Top 100 Prospect Ranking: 6

  • Current Level: Triple-A
  • ETA: July/August

Kade Anderson continues to dominate Double‑A. In his latest outing, he went six innings and allowed just two hits and one walk while striking out eight batters. Anderson is clearly ready for a tougher challenge.

Seattle has a history of skipping Triple‑A with top pitching prospects, so that path remains possible. While the rotation is crowded, Anderson is pitching too well to ignore. If he’s somehow still available in your league, add him immediately.

Walker Jenkins (OF – MIN) | Top 100 Prospect Ranking: 11

  • Current Level: Triple-A
  • ETA: July

Walker Jenkins is back after missing just over a month. He returned to Triple‑A this week following a strong rehab stint across Low‑A and High‑A.

With Emmanuel Rodriguez sidelined, Jenkins becomes Minnesota’s top near-ready outfield option. He’s a strong stash in deep leagues or five-outfielder formats, especially if you need power and speed.

Cooper Ingle (C, OF – CLE) | Top 100 Prospect Ranking: 70

  • Current Level: Triple-A
  • ETA: June/July

Cooper Ingle has slowed down, and he nearly fell off this list until his three‑home run game revived hope. The strikeouts remain high, 17 in his last 10 games, but his track record as a strong contact hitter with on-base upside suggests he’ll rebound. It’s taking longer than expected for a call-up, but the skills are still there.

Additional Fantasy Baseball Prospects to Consider

Ethan Pecko (SP – HOU) | Top 100 Prospect Ranking: Unranked

  • Current Level: Triple-A
  • ETA: July

Ethan Pecko has gone six or more innings in three of his last starts after failing to reach that mark in his previous seven Triple‑A outings. His season line — 3.63 ERA, 39 K in 44.2 innings — is solid.

Houston appears to be stretching Pecko out, which could signal a promotion soon. With 16 Triple‑A starts between this season and last, he’s getting close.

Max Anderson (2B – DET) | Top 100 Prospect Ranking: Unranked

  • Current Level: Triple-A
  • ETA: July

Max Anderson has played mostly second base in Triple‑A but has also logged time at first and third, giving him valuable versatility. Over his last 10 games, Anderson hit four home runs and three doubles. He’s a sneaky add in deep leagues for anyone needing infield power.

Karson Milbrandt (SP – MIA) | Top 100 Prospect Ranking: 100

  • Current Level: Triple-A
  • ETA: July/August

Karson Milbrandt lasted only four innings in his last start after giving up five walks, though he allowed just one earned run and struck out seven batters. Pitching in the Pacific Coast League (PCL) is always volatile, so inconsistency is expected.

If Milbrandt can keep the walk rate under control, Miami will consider calling him up. August looks like the earliest realistic debut timeline.
