11 Fantasy Football Risers & Fallers (2026)

When preparing for your fantasy football drafts, knowing which players to target and which to avoid is important. The amount of information available can be overwhelming, so a great way to condense the data and determine players to draft and others to leave for your leaguemates is to use our expert consensus fantasy football rankings compared to fantasy football average draft position (ADP). In this way, you can identify players the experts are willing to reach for at ADP and others they are not drafting until much later than average. Beyond this, it’s important to keep tabs on preseason rankings risers and fallers. We’ll help you there with this recurring article, where we’ll explore players rising or falling in the rankings as we approach NFL Week 1.

    Fantasy Football Risers & Fallers

Camps are opening, and the top of the board moved for the first time all summer. This week there were more notable changes, with a first-round receiver climbing into Tier 2 and a top-15 running back falling out of it.

    Risers

    A.J. Brown (WR – NE): Up 2 spots to No. 14 – Tier 3 into Tier 2

A two-spot move that’s the most significant riser of the summer, because of where it happened. Brown crossed from Tier 3 into Tier 2, joining the elite handful of receivers the consensus treats as set-and-forget WR1s. The catalyst is his trade from Philadelphia to New England, and the case keeps compounding as analysts work through it. He reunites with head coach Mike Vrabel, who coached him in Tennessee, and lands in a Patriots passing offense that ranked meaningfully higher in neutral passing rate than the Eagles unit he left. The touchdown math is the interesting part. Philadelphia ranked last in the league in passing rate inside the ten-yard line last season while New England ranked 15th, which is exactly the kind of usage shift that can spike a career high in scores. His ADP has been climbing all summer and accelerating since the trade. The expert rankings are now confirming it.

Jonathon Brooks (RB – CAR): Up 6 spots to No. 117

Our signature recurring storyline extends another week. Brooks climbs again, roughly 16 spots over the last two weeks. Nothing new broke this week. This is the consensus continuing to work through a case that hasn’t weakened. He remains the only genuinely exciting late-round running back in a thin class, with a clean path behind Chuba Hubbard and a head coach in Dave Canales with a documented history of feeding a workhorse.

    J.K. Dobbins (RB – DEN): Up 1 to No. 94 – Tier 7 into Tier 6

A rare tier crossing inside the top 100, and worth logging precisely because the raw move is so small. The consensus quietly reclassified him into a better group.

Emeka Egbuka (WR – TB) up 4 to No. 39 and Tony Pollard (RB – TEN) up 4 to No. 73 are the most relevant mid-board climbers. Sean Tucker (RB – TB) up 13 to No. 176 is the week’s biggest raw riser.

    Fallers

    De’Von Achane (RB – MIA): Down 3 spots to No. 17 – Tier 2 into Tier 3

The week’s most consequential move. Achane fell from Tier 2 into Tier 3, the first time a top-15 player has been demoted a tier this summer. This is not an injury story. His offseason shoulder cleanup was routine, and he’s expected to be full-go for camp. This is the consensus recalibrating his projection. The concern is target volume: Achane ranked second among all running backs in target share last season, but Miami now has Malik Willis at quarterback, whose rushing ability figures to produce fewer checkdowns. Pair that with an offense widely projected among the league’s worst, and the case for elite RB upside gets harder to make even though the talent and workload are unquestioned.

Malik Nabers (WR – NYG): Down 4 spots to No. 44

A slow, steady bleed that’s now the longest-running faller trend over the last few weeks. Nabers has slipped roughly 14 spots since we first flagged him in late June for missing mandatory minicamp during a lengthy ACL and meniscus rehab. There’s no new news this week. Camps are opening, and the absence of a clean “he’s fully cleared” headline is itself information. He’s now the biggest overdraft risk in the top 50.

Travis Kelce (TE – KC) down 4 to No. 106 and Isaiah Likely (TE – NYG) down 5 to No. 123 headline a broader tight end cooling. That’s a genuine positional trend this week: seven of the twelve biggest market-overdraft gaps on the entire board now belong to tight ends. Omar Cooper Jr. (WR – NYJ) down 11 to No. 162 was the biggest raw faller in the draftable range.
