8 Fantasy Football Risers & Fallers (2026)

When preparing for your fantasy football drafts, knowing which players to target and which to avoid is important. The amount of information available can be overwhelming, so a great way to condense the data and determine players to draft and others to leave for your leaguemates is to use our expert consensus fantasy football rankings compared to fantasy football average draft position (ADP). In this way, you can identify players the experts are willing to reach for at ADP and others they are not drafting until much later than average. Beyond this, it’s important to keep tabs on preseason rankings risers and fallers. We’ll help you there with this recurring article, where we’ll explore players rising or falling in the rankings as we approach NFL Week 1.

    Fantasy Football Fallers

Malik Nabers (WR – NYG) (down 6 spots to No. 36). The week’s headline mover, and the rare slide this early with a clear, well-sourced reason. Nabers skipped the Giants’ mandatory minicamp and remains in what head coach John Harbaugh has repeatedly called the “slog” of his recovery from a torn ACL and meniscus, by Harbaugh’s own estimate roughly 70-80% through rehab, with a Week 1 return now openly in question and a PUP stint on the table. The talent isn’t in doubt, but the availability is.

James Conner (RB – ARI) (down 8 to No. 167). Last week’s single biggest value play continues to drift. He’s still carrying a large positive ECR-vs-ADP gap (+52), so the rankers remain meaningfully higher on him than the room, but that gap is shrinking. The perceived value comes from an expectation that Conner will be traded to an RB-needy team to help increase his role. However, the longer he continues to be on the Cardinals, the murkier his value and path to meaningful touches.

Jonathon Brooks (RB – CAR) (down 6 to No. 133). A notable reversal: Brooks was our lead riser last week on the back of glowing OTA reports. This week the rankers pumped the brakes a touch even as his draft-market price kept climbing. His ECR-vs-ADP gap widened from -16 to -30, the signal of a player whose ADP is now running ahead of where experts are comfortable valuing him.

Chuba Hubbard (RB – CAR) (down 5 to No. 79) rounds out the fallers, a modest slide that pairs interestingly with Brooks’ own dip. The Carolina backfield picture is getting less clear to the consensus, not more, as camp nears.

    Fantasy Football Risers

Ryan Flournoy (WR – DAL) (up 13 to No. 173). Flournoy has locked down the Cowboys’ WR3 role behind CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens, is reportedly seeing more slot work, and has drawn consistently positive practice buzz, with the coaching staff describing a player who’s grown into “a real football player with a set role.” His ECR-vs-ADP surged from +1 to +15, the market’s way of saying it likes the late-round value. He’s still off the standard-league radar in a crowded offense, but he’s the clearest upward-trending dart on the board this week.

Quentin Johnston (WR – LAC) (up 5 to No. 103). A steady climb into the back half of the startable WR conversation, the kind of quiet momentum that’s worth logging before it accelerates.

Tony Pollard (RB – TEN) (up 4 to No. 77) and Kyren Williams (RB – LAR) (up 3 to No. 32) are the most relevant risers near the top of the board. Small raw moves, but both involve established, every-week starters whose stock is firming rather than slipping.
