Devy Fantasy Football Player Outlook

Ohio State Buckeyes RB Bo Jackson proved as a true freshman that he was under-ranked as a four-star recruit, totaling 1,290 yards and seven touchdowns in 2025. He has the ideal NFL frame at six-feet, 218 pounds, and was given the nickname “Bo” by his father by excelling both in football and track. Two more strong seasons of running over defenders in the Big Ten should push Jackson into the first round of the 2028 NFL Draft, making him the clear top running back for devy purposes.

There’s a good chance that we’ve yet to see the best from Georgia Tech RB Justice Haynes. A strong sophomore season at Alabama flamed out as the offense sputtered late in 2024. A transfer to the Michigan Wolverines led to 857 rushing yards and six 100-yard games through seven appearances before a foot injury ended his season early. Brent Key’s run-heavy offense that was executed to perfection by QB Haynes King and RB Justice Haynes the past three seasons needs a new engine. The 5-foot-11, 210-pound Haynes could be just what the doctor ordered, working alongside Indiana Hoosiers transfer QB Alberto Mendoza. If the puzzle pieces fit, we might be looking at an early day-two NFL Draft pick in Haynes.

Essentially an unknown before last season, Ole Miss Rebels RB Kewan Lacy has separated himself as the 2027 RB1. After transferring from Missouri, Lacy took the RB1 job in Lane Kiffin’s offense, leading the nation in rushing attempts (306), while finishing second in rushing touchdowns (24) and third in rushing yards (1,567). His big-play and home run-hitting ability was on full display in the College Football Playoff (CFP), and will be needed even more in 2026 with the Rebels’ featuring an underwhelming receiving corps.
