QA Automation Consultant (Contract)
This is a fully remote contract position.
FantasyPros is looking for an experienced QA Automation Consultant (Contract) to assist our QA team with implementing and updating automated testing frameworks and translating test cases into automated tests to improve the user experience of fantasy sports tools and services.
The ideal consultant will have experience in test automation for websites and web-based applications, APIs, and (preferably) native mobile applications.
We are looking for someone who can:
- Work with QA team to either implement new or update existing infrastructure for test automation.
- Develop automated tests for the FantasyPros API using Postman and Jenkins (or similar).
- Accurately translate written test cases into automated tests using Selenium or TestCafe (or similar).
- Develop a battery of deployment tests for code commits.
- Implement/enhance continuous integration test solutions.
- Deliver effective results on time.
Highly desirable:
- A passion for fantasy sports.
- Extensive experience creating test automation frameworks from the ground up.
This is a contract role for someone who is an existing QA automation consultant or someone who works full-time in QA automation and can take on an extra project.
The contract length and scope will vary based on agreed upon project requirements, but we are looking for someone who can immediately contribute to our QA automation efforts and potentially continue the engagement through the Fall of 2020.
Pay will be project-based, dependent on project scope and negotiated consulting rate.
