Description:
Have you ever tried to create your own system for tracking or projecting fantasy stats? FantasyPros is looking for a frontend and backend developer to join the team building our site. The ideal candidate is passionate about building web products, enjoys watching sports and playing season-long and/or daily fantasy games.
Responsibilities
- Work with a team of developers and designers to add and update features using PHP.
- Convert mockups into front-end HTML, CSS, and JS.
- Create and help to maintain API endpoints using LAMP stack.
- QA website, fix bugs, and respond to user inquiries.
Minimum Requirements
- 3+ years working on a site on a LAMP platform.
- Developing HTML/CSS with responsive media queries.
- Writing and optimizing secure SQL queries.
- Use of a version control system like git.
- Passionate about playing fantasy sports.
Desired Experience
- Practical knowledge of Python.
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks (Vue, React, Angular).
- Familiarity with caching technologies like Memcached or Reddis.
- Previous experience using and managing AWS resources.
This is a full-time position – no contractors or agencies please.
