The White Sox put up 12 runs on Monday and beat the Royals 12-1. Melky Cabrera did his part by going 1-for-3 with a run scored. He also knocked in two RBIs and drew two walks.
Fantasy Impact
This was one of the better fantasy performances by Cabrera this season. He has yet to hit for much power, but is worth a look in most formats. Cabrera is usually a slow starter and his numbers should get better as the weather warms up. His BABIP is currently under his career average, meaning Cabrera should see some positive regression soon.
