The team should have more on his expected return today. Injuries are nothing knew for Cahill, but hopefully this is of the minor variety. After showing success as a reliever in 2016, Cahill put together a strong start for the season as part of the Padres' rotation. He posted great ratios along with strong strikeout totals over the first month and a half of the new year.
