Edwin Diaz gave up a solo homer and a single in the ninth inning Wednesday against Detroit, but he managed to hold on and get three outs for his 12th save. His ERA now sits at 3.34.
Fantasy Impact
The 12 saves are nice, but the ERA of 3.34 is a little high for a closer. That being said, Diaz has been pitching well of late and should have a solid grasp on the closer role in Seattle.
