Martinez roped an RBI single in the top of the ninth that started a three run insurance rally for the Tigers for his only hit of the game. The power hasn't been there for V-Mart this year but he has still contributed with a solid if unspectacular season line mostly due to a terrible June. He's been pretty good as of late, hitting .316 with a pair of home runs and nine RBIs over the past couple of weeks.
