Marcus Semien finished 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk in Wednesday's 3-2 loss to Toronto.

Semien had, until the bottom of the ninth, accounted for the game's only two runs, taking starter Marco Estrada deep in the fifth. It may have been his only hit on the night but it was also his second home run in a week as he's been swinging a blistering bat as of late going 9-for-23 with the two dingers, five RBIs and a pair of stolen bases. There's solid power here as evidenced by the 27 bombs he hit last year so a nice summer after missing three months of the year with a fractured wrist may be in the cards for the shortstop.
