Mike Fiers fell to 7-8 on Thursday versus Arizona, allowing three runs (two earned) on seven hits over 5 1/3 innings of work. The right-hander also walked two and struck out seven.
Fantasy Impact
The damage came via the long ball in this one for Fiers. He now has a 4.32 ERA here in the middle of August, but he has been pitching much better over the past couple of months. He's certainly on the fantasy streaming radar due to the strikeout and win potential.
