Shae Simmons activated from DL

Shae Simmons was activated from the 60-day disabled list on Friday and recalled from a rehab assignment at Triple-A Tacoma. (Bob Dutton of The News Tribune )
Fantasy Impact:
Simmons missed all of 2015 and most of 2016 recovering from Tommy John surgery. He last appeared in the Majors in 2016, pitching in relief while a member of the Atlanta Braves. The 26-year-old right-hander opened the season with Seattle on the disabled list because of a strained right elbow. He made 13 rehab appearances over the last two months with three different minor-league clubs. It is likely that Simmons will be used in middle relief for the rest of September.
