Baltimore manager Buck Showalter said that Beckham was only removed from the game as a precaution, and that he hopes the 28-year-old will be ready to play on Sunday when the team leaves Florida. Beckham hit 22 homers and posted a .782 OPS in 2017. He'll be playing third base this season, which will make him multi-eligible.
