Miami Marlins pitcher Jacob Turner, who was designated for assignment, has cleared waivers and will be assigned to the Triple-A New Orleans Baby Cakes. (Joe Frisaro on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Turner made the team out of Spring Training, but then allowed eight runs in just one inning of work in the 20-run disaster against the Phillies. Turner will work in Triple-A and try to make his way back onto the 40-man roster.
