Daniel Murphy began a rehab assignment with Double-A Harrisburg on Saturday. Murphy batted third and played seven innings. He went 1-for-4 with a run scored. On the hit, Murphy went from first to third with what appeared to be no limitations.
Fantasy Impact
Fantasy owners that have been patient with Murphy's recovery process will soon be rewarded with his return. Dave Martinez would like to see Murphy play in a couple of full games before he comes back to play in the big leagues but that shouldn't be too far off.
