The Cleveland Indians will activate outfielder Bradley Zimmer from the 10-day DL on Friday, according to manager Terry Francona. Pitcher Shane Bieber, who made a Thursday spot start for the Indians, will head back to Triple-A Columbus to make room.

Zimmer has been on the DL for two weeks with a rib injury which he sustained crashing into the outfield wall. He is batting .224 with two homers and four steals in 2018.
