Fantasy Impact
The home run was nice, but there is a very slim chance that anyone benefited from it in fantasy play. It isn't unwarranted, as he owns a .211 AVG while splitting time with two other players behind the plate, and that combination has severely diminished any fantasy value he could have if he was the main guy. As it stands, Mathis should not be owned in any fantasy league.
