Nicholas Castellanos went 0-for-3 in a loss to the Twins on Wednesday. He did draw a walk and come around to score, however.

Castellanos has been surging to close out the season, slashing a crisp .369/.433/.607 in September. The breakout slugger looks to finish the year with a batting average over .300, and should have some better counting stats next year if the Tigers can find him some protection in the lineup.
