The Giants are hoping that Hudson, 39, will be ready for opening day. The uncertainty surrounding his availability will very likely suppress his value on draft day. He posted a very serviceable 3.57 ERA and 1.23 WHIP in 31 starts in his first season with the Giants in 2014, but injury and age may finally be catching up to Hudson, who is likely in his final season.
