The club has scheduled a press conference for this afternoon, and apparently they'll be announcing the extension. The terms aren't known, but the club has recently named Mikolas as their Opening Day starter. Now he's clearly in their future plans as well. Mikolas was a fantasy stud last season with 18 wins and an ERA of 2.83. His lower strikeout rate keeps him from being a fantasy ace, but he shouldn't be disregarded this draft season as a fluke. He's currently sitting at 114 overall and SP28 in our ECR.
