Salvador Perez suffered a severe elbow injury during a workout in Royals camp on Wednesday. He had an MRI on Thursday which showed damage to the ulnar collateral ligament (UCL). He will get a second opinion next week from Dr. Neal ElAttrache. (Kansas City Royals on Twitter)

This is horrible news for a position that is already hard to fill on fantasy rosters. Depending upon the severity of the damage, Perez could require Tommy John Surgery which would eliminate him from playing at all this season. It's a huge blow to the Royals and fantasy rosters everywhere.
