Jon Lester was roughed up by the Rockies Thursday in Chicago's 7-5 spring loss to the Colorado club. He allowed four earned runs in 3.2 innings along with one walk and four strikeouts.

Lester also served up two home runs in the third innings, one to Garrett Hampson and the other to David Dahl. We aren't worried about a poor spring performance from a veteran like Lester, but we are worried about his pitiful 4.57 SIERA and 2.33 K/BB ratio from a year ago, along with career worst velocity and a rapidly declining SwStr rate. Even with a FantasyPros consensus ADP of 163, Lester should be avoided on draft day.
