Phillies starter Jake Arrieta allowed five runs on six hits and three walks while striking out one over 3 1/3 innings in a losing effort against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Thursday.

Arrieta now has a 7.88 ERA during Spring Training, although Spring stats should always be taken with a grain of salt. Still, Arrieta's ERA has steadily risen while his strikeout numbers have dropped over the last four years. While these early stats mean nothing once the calendar turns to the regular season, fantasy owners will likely want to at least see Arrieta trending in the right direction soon.
