Tanner Roark allowed three runs on six hits over 4.1 innings in the Reds' 4-3 loss to the Brewers on Monday. Roark walked three and struck out six.

Roark was really inefficient in this one, taking 96 pitches to get 13 outs. He also allowed nine baserunners, and was lucky to have only allowed three earned runs give how he pitched. The six strikeouts were nice, but there wasn't much else to like here. Roark is better left on the bench, or better yet the waiver wire, for his next start Saturday against the Pirates.
