Minnesota Twins left-hander Martin Perez pitched six innings of one-run ball, striking out five and walking two. The bullpen let him down as the Blue Jays went on to win 5-3.

Perez opened the season in the bullpen but Minnesota finally needed a fifth starter. Perez has a 5.02 ERA but he does have 17 strikeouts in 14 1/3 innings of work. He isn't of much interest in fantasy leagues.
