Gio Gonzalez allowed two runs on six hits over five innings in the Brewers' 5-2 loss to the Mets on Sunday. He walked one and struck out two in the no decision.
Fantasy Impact
This was a decent result for Gonzalez's first start of 2019, although a lack of strikeouts is a little concerning. It was nice to see him reign in the walks, since Gonzalez had a 10.7% walk rate last season and a 9% walk rate with Triple-A Scranton this year. He's got NL-only value, but in mixed leagues he isn't much more than a streamer. His next start would likely come Friday against these same Mets at home.
