Minnesota Twins catcher Mitch Garver went 3-for-3 with a two-run homer in a 3-0 win over Toronto on Tuesday.

Garver gave his team a scare when he was nicked in the neck by the pointy end of a broken bat, but he wound up suffering just a few scratches and was able to stay in the game. The young backstop has been excellent at the plate this season, hitting .367 with seven homers and 14 RBI.
